About Me

Hello! I’m Indigo, an artist from Scotland with five years of freelance experience. I primarily work in oil painting and digital illustration, moving between traditional and digital processes depending on what is required.

My inspiration is rooted in queer culture and personal identity, with a strong focus on the female form. Through my work, I explore themes of intimacy, representation, and the body as both subject and site of meaning. I’m interested in how women are depicted, perceived, and allowed to exist within visual culture and I use my work to question and reframe those narratives.

Across both mediums, I prioritise honesty and presence over general appeal. Whether working digitally or on canvas, my aim is to create images that feel grounded in lived experience and the current climate.
